I've had the Black Pearl OST here for a long time, I think since the time the second movie came out ^^;; The sad thing is that I've been so lazy to change it to anything else. Now, this past Thursday, even the third movie came out... so I figure why not, let's keep it here for a bit longer. But as a special service, I'm now going to update it with the original soundtracks of the other two movies as well.
The first soundtrack was composed by Klaus Badelt, whose style and use of intruments were very similar to his mentor Hans Zimmer. It was also said that Hans Zimmer contributed some of the Black Pearl themes even though he remained uncredited. Starting the second movie Dead Man's Chest, Hans Zimmer became the sole composer for the movies. The soundtracks for Dead Man's Chest and At World's End still feature some reprisal themes from Black Pearl but also adds a nice selection of their own. My favorite track in At World's End is #8 Parlay.
